Who We Are

1 in 4 children in our community are “food insecure”, which means that they are not sure when, or from where, their next meal will come. Families are increasingly being described by the term “working poor”, as they address the economic realities that force them to choose between food and other essentials.

Come to the CDC for low cost food, household products, and helpful services. 211 LA County is dedicated to providing an easy-to-use, caring, professional source of guidance, advocacy, and 24 hours 7 days per week access to a comprehensive range of human services to the people of Los Angeles County.
